Artwork Out!

Sorry for the delay! The artwork for “In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall” is out. Not the usual mystic look to it. It showcases the band seated in an empty hall (huge hall!).. quite a change. Hopefully the DVD would be just as refreshing!

The other images are the artworks to “Lamentations” and “Roundhouse Tapes”. You’ll see the difference.

The Disc 1 would be containing all tracks from their evergreen album Blackwater park and the second disc would be all (in their opinion) of the best tracks from the remaining albums.

1-

  • The Leper Affinity
  • Bleak
  • Harvest
  • The Drapery Falls
  • Dirge For November
  • The Funeral Portrait
  • Patterns in the Ivy
  • Blackwater Park

2-

  • Forest of October (Orchid)
  • Advent (Morningrise)
  • April Ethereal (My Arms, Your Hearse)
  • The Moor (Still Life)
  • Wreath (Deliverance)
  • Hope Leaves (Damnation)
  • Harlequin Forest (Ghost Reveries)
  • The Lotus Eater (Watershed)

Had i been given a choice, I would’ve liked Face of Melinda, Windowpane, In my Time of Need, Isolation Years and Demon of the Fall.

An only Blackwater Park and Damnations performance would’ve made my year! 😀

Opeth’s New DVD

A clip from the recently released DVD of Opeth’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Waiting to get my hands on a copy of that DVD! Loved the Roundhouse (2007) and Lamentations (2003)!

The audio sounds rich and Mikael Akerfeldt has proved himself once again (not that he needed to). The guy has flair! Some improvisations done here and there but overall it is an impressive performance. And this is a just a teaser video… this DVD is gonna be epic!

Soon! Very soon!!
